The steps of the gum restoration procedure are to instruct the patient to use 0.12% chlorhexidine gargle to keep the mouth clean. After local disinfection of the towel, block anesthesia was performed with atticaine and infiltration anesthesia was performed in the labio-buccal sulcus on the root side of the affected tooth. The depth of the periodontal pocket around the affected tooth was explored with a probe and marked, and the incision was made 1-2 mm above the root of the marked point. A scalpel was used to cut into the gingiva, scrape away any remaining tartar, granulation tissue lesions, and bone under the gingiva, and trim the margins and gingival surface. Bone powder and periosteum are placed, pressure is applied to stop bleeding, the gingival papilla is suspended and sutured, and a periodontal plugging agent is applied externally.
