How long can a person with sinusitis live?

With clinical intervention, sinusitis usually does not affect the life expectancy of patients and its survival is long.

Sinusitis can be divided into acute sinusitis and chronic sinusitis depending on the duration of the disease, with local symptoms of nasal congestion, runny nose, decreased sense of smell and headache. Usually acute sinusitis without timely diagnosis and treatment can develop into chronic inflammation, which is generally difficult to be completely cured. Even though chronic sinusitis is difficult to cure, it generally does not affect life expectancy unless combined with nasal tumors or other serious diseases.

Patients with sinusitis are advised to keep their nasal passages clear, avoid cold and infection, and avoid spicy and irritating foods in their diet.
