What is Stage II French Ear Reconstruction?

Phase I. Reconstruction of the external ear anatomy: three sections of rib cartilage (6th, 7th and 8th ribs) are cut, the ear scaffold is sculpted and implanted under the skin in the mastoid area, the earlobe is transposed, and the ear screen and auricular cavity are reconstructed. Phase II (after six months) Cranial ear angle reconstruction: the postauricular fascial flap is flipped, the auricle is lifted, the artificial ear scaffold material is fixed, the traumatic surface is free of skin grafting, and the cranial ear angle is reconstructed. This method is less traumatic, faster recovery, and the surgery is completed in two stages, with fewer hospitalizations, less expense, and fewer complications.
