A diagnosis of primary liver cancer deserves aggressive treatment, but after all, it is a malignant tumor, and no one can guarantee a cure that will not recur.
It is usually possible to make a prediction of survival based on the stage at diagnosis, but it is not possible to make an accurate prediction because, after all, each patient’s physical and mental condition and motivation to face the disease are different, and these are variables that affect the outcome of the cure and quality of life.
The current clinical treatment of tumors is intended to be similar to chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, to achieve long-term control and to live with the tumor.
