How to avoid umbilical cord wrapping

There is no external way of avoiding umbilical cord entanglement, and there is no better clinical prevention.
Although it cannot be prevented, it can be detected at an early stage by ultrasonography. Umbilical cord bypass refers to the umbilical cord surrounding the neck of the fetus. The main causes of umbilical cord bypass are long umbilical cord, excessive amniotic fluid and frequent fetal movement, and most of the cases do not need any special treatment, and regular checkups are sufficient.
For women in the late stage of pregnancy, there is no need to worry too much after discovering the umbilical cord around the neck. If it causes slowing down of the fetal heart rate or intrauterine distress, cesarean section can be carried out to terminate the pregnancy in time to avoid jeopardizing the health of the mother and child.
Regular checkups and close monitoring of the fetal heart rate can help to detect umbilical cord nuchal translucency at an early stage, so that you can be prepared for it in advance.
