Sore stomach in pregnancy may be caused by physiological factors, pre-miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, preterm labor and other factors.
1. Physiological factors: uterine enlargement may lead to tummy ache, pregnant women’s nervousness, overwork or the existence of false contractions, will lead to physiological tummy ache, usually can be relieved on their own, do not need special treatment.
In the late stages of pregnancy, the symptoms of stomach ache should be alert for preeclampsia, the symptoms of stomach ache will gradually shorten the regular interval, may be accompanied by vaginal bleeding, vaginal discharge of amniotic fluid and so on.
2. Pathological factors: preeclampsia, ectopic pregnancy can cause stomach ache, mostly occurring in early and mid-pregnancy, can be accompanied by vaginal bleeding.
Sore stomach in pregnancy may also be caused by other reasons, should be timely medical examination and treatment to avoid adverse effects.
