Glucose tolerance refers to whether a pregnant woman has gestational diabetes or not by taking the right amount of glucose orally at 24~28 weeks. If the glucose tolerance is normal, then the next maternity checkup should be around 26~32 weeks. The maternity checkup program includes systematic ultrasound, measurement of uterine height, abdominal circumference, blood pressure, and weight, in order to monitor the presence of gestational hypertension and other phenomena. After pregnancy, you must have regular maternity checkups, including Down’s syndrome, four-dimensional ultrasound, glucose tolerance, etc. Routine maternity checkups should be conducted every four weeks up to 28 weeks, routine maternity checkups should be conducted every two weeks from 28 to 36 weeks, including fetal orientation, fetal heart as well as fetal heart rate monitoring, and routine checkups should be conducted once a week from 36 weeks onwards.
