Simply from the size of the lesion, it is impossible to judge the severity of the tumor, but should also be evaluated with the pathological type of the tumor, the depth of infiltration of the tumor, whether there are distant metastases and other factors. 1. Pathological type: common pathological types are invasive squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, etc. Most of them have good prognosis, but if it is the mucinous adenocarcinoma subtype of adenocarcinoma, even if the size of the lesion is only 1.0*0.5cm, the prognosis is still very poor, and the 5-year survival rate is only half of that of common adenocarcinoma. 2. Depth of infiltration: if the infiltration does not exceed the basement membrane, it is not serious; if the infiltration exceeds the basement membrane, it has the risk of distant metastasis, which may have serious adverse consequences and reduce the survival rate. 3. Whether there is distant metastasis: if there is no distant metastasis, the prognosis is good after treatment; if there is distant metastasis (e.g. pelvic implantation metastasis, etc.), it is more serious. When cervical cancer appears, one should actively consult the doctor and follow the doctor’s instructions for reasonable treatment.
