What to do about painful scar growths

Clinically common scar hyperplastic pain can be treated in different ways according to the severity of the patient’s pain. First, if the patient’s pain of scar hyperplasia is mild, local topical application of Xizheto and Fotarine ointment can be combined with moxibustion strip fumigation and hot amyl pack external application. Oral administration of nerve-nourishing drugs such as Micropol (methylcobalamin) can improve the blood circulation in the scars and reduce the local pain symptoms, and some patients can achieve better treatment results. Second, if the pain at the scar is relatively stubborn, and the effect of conservative treatment through drugs is not good, surgery can be considered to remove the scar tissue. For the local nerve tissue under the scar, intradermal suture can be used to reduce the pain caused by scar hyperplasia.
