For hyperplastic scars, topical cumene cream or glucocorticoids can be used, such as topical tretinoin cream, 0.05% clobetasol propionate cream, and dexamethasone nitrone lotion. However, topical medications for hyperplastic scars, which often do not achieve better results, need to be combined with other methods of treatment, such as local injections of glucocorticoids with trenbolone suspension and equal amounts of lidocaine, and spot intradermal injections every 1-2 weeks, depending on the size of the lesion. Silicone gel sheets are also used to increase hydration of the scars, and silicone rubber is used to cover the scars for 12 hours daily to reduce the painful symptoms and soften the scars.
