Circumcision is a method of circumcision that, unlike open surgical excision, utilizes a ring-shaped instrument that performs the excision. Commonly available on the market are instruments such as the commercial ring and the Xunshu ring. There is an inner ring and an outer ring. The inner ring is placed at the inner plate of the foreskin and the outer ring is placed over the outer circumference of the foreskin, with a good alignment between the two rings and a locking device that locks the foreskin in place after the appropriate length is left. The foreskin between the inner and outer plates gradually undergoes ischemic necrosis and falls off on its own after 7-10 days. This is a relatively cosmetic procedure characterized by a short procedure time, no bleeding at all, and a more aesthetic healing without the need for stitches.
