What’s wrong with sore teeth?

Sore and swollen teeth may be related to food impaction, or may be caused by apical periodontitis, periodontitis, caries and other reasons.
1. Food impaction: Due to the large local tooth gap, after eating, especially after eating lean meat, it is easy to lead to food impaction in the tooth gap, which may induce inflammation of the gingival papillae, and may cause tooth soreness and swelling.
2. Periapical periodontitis: due to inflammation in the tissues around the root tip, it may lead to inflammatory exudate in the alveolar bone, and in severe cases, pus may appear, in this case, when the teeth bite, it is subjected to occlusal stress, which may cause tooth acidity and swelling.
3. Periodontitis: This disease may cause the patient’s tooth roots to be exposed, resulting in increased sensitivity of dentin, which may cause tooth soreness, especially when eating sweet and sour food, tooth soreness is particularly obvious.
4. Caries: When caries is more serious, due to deeper cavities, it may lead to caries into the pulp cavity, causing inflammation of the pulp cavity, which may cause tooth acidity and swelling, and may be accompanied by bad taste, food congestion and other manifestations.
It is recommended to consult a doctor as soon as possible to identify the cause of tooth soreness and give targeted treatment.
