Liver-Sparing and Spleen-enhancing Pill should refer to Spleen-enhancing Pill. Spleen-enhancing Pill differs from Liver-Sparing and Stomach-enhancing Pill in terms of composition, efficacy and main treatment.
1. Composition: Strengthening the Spleen Pill is composed of Codonopsis pilosula, Citrus aurantium dulcis, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Malt, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Hawthorn. Shu Hepatitis and Stomach Pill is composed of Hou Pu, Petunia, Xiang Fu, Wuling Zhi, Bai Shao, Yan Hu Suo, Chai Hu, Betel Nut, Qing Pi, Chicken Nei Jin, Citron, Citrus Aurantium, Chen Pi, Cardamom, Sandalwood.
2. Effects: Strengthening the spleen pill has the effect of strengthening the spleen and opening the stomach. Shu Liver and Stomach Pill is effective in relieving the liver and opening up depression, inducing stagnation and harmonizing the middle.
3. Indications: Strengthening the Spleen Pill is indicated for weak spleen and stomach, distension and fullness in the epigastrium (stomach and abdomen), and loose stools (thin and unformed feces). Shu Liver and Stomach Strengthening Pill is used for treating distension and pain in the stomach and epigastrium caused by disharmony between the liver and the stomach, vomiting and acid swallowing (swallowing acid from the stomach upward to the mouth and pharynx), fullness in the chest and hypochondrium (collectively referred to as the thorax and the rib cage), abdominal distension and constipation.
In addition, the adverse reactions and contraindications of Jian Spleen Pill are not clear. Avoid eating cold, greasy and indigestible food. Not applicable to acute enteritis diarrhea, mainly manifested as abdominal pain, frequent watery stools, or fever.
The adverse reactions of Shu Liver and Stomach Pill are not clear, and it is contraindicated in pregnant women. This product should not be taken for a long time, and should not be taken together with drugs containing ginseng. Patients should avoid eating greasy, cold and indigestible food during the medication, and avoid sulking or emotional excitement.
