5 Early Signs of Bile Duct Cancer, Are They Real?

There is no such thing as 5 signs of bile duct cancer in early stage clinically. Generally, patients with bile duct cancer in early stage may have signs such as abdominal pain, change of urine and stool color and so on. 1. Abdominal pain: Most of the cholangiocarcinoma patients may have discomfort in the right upper abdomen, such as swelling and pain, accompanied by loss of appetite and sudden weight loss. Usually patients will have abdominal pain and jaundice successively three months after the onset of the disease. 2. Change of urine and stool color: Generally in cholangiocarcinoma patients with jaundice, the color of urine and stool may also change. Generally urine color may be dark yellow, and in serious cases, it may be soy sauce color, and stool may be light yellow or clay color. As the disease progresses, black stools may also appear if there is bleeding from the biliary tract in the later stages. Patients are advised to seek prompt medical attention if any of these signs occur to avoid delays.
