At present, most hospitals in China use ordinary X-ray machines or digital X-ray machines (DR) to do tubal imaging. The disadvantages are 1) the specific morphology and patency of the fallopian tubes cannot be observed dynamically, and the accuracy of the imaging results is poor 2) the contrast agent needs to be manually injected during the imaging, which is more painful for the patient, and the dosage and speed of contrast agent injection is difficult to achieve a satisfactory level of uterine and fallopian tube imaging 3) it is difficult to grasp the best timing for the film, and it is not easy to obtain accurate imaging results. Only a few hospitals in China have adopted advanced DSA equipment for tubal imaging, the advantages of which are 1. The dose and pressure of the contrast agent is precisely controlled by computer, and with the special DSA catheter, ideal imaging results can be obtained and the patient’s pain during the imaging is greatly reduced. Because of its unique advantages, DSA tubal angiography is favored by domestic reproductive medicine specialists and is becoming the choice of tubal angiography in more and more hospitals.
