What’s wrong with shaking in advanced liver cancer?

Common causes of shivering in advanced stage of liver cancer include calcium deficiency, nervous system damage, hepatic encephalopathy and so on. 1. Calcium deficiency: patients with advanced stage of liver cancer are often physically weak and lack of nutrition, if the blood calcium level is low, convulsions and shaking may be caused by calcium deficiency. 2. Nervous system damage: if liver cancer has metastasized to spine, or metastasized to bones and pressed nerves, or even metastasized to brain, convulsions and shivering may occur. 3. Hepatic encephalopathy: advanced liver cancer can cause hepatic encephalopathy, also called hepatic coma, which is a syndrome of central nervous system dysfunction, and the main clinical manifestations are consciousness disorder, coma, and shivering in a small number of patients. Shivering in advanced stage of liver cancer may also be caused by other reasons, once it occurs, one should go to hospital in time to find out the cause and carry out targeted treatment.
