What are the foods that are prone to diarrhea

Foods that tend to cause diarrhea are mainly cold and raw foods, spicy and stimulating foods and foods with substandard hygiene. Excessive intake of cold foods by the patient may lead to contractions and spasms of the intestinal mucosa in emergencies, resulting in the development of acute diarrhea, such as ice cream, chilled drinks or frozen foods. Excessive capsaicin intake can also cause diarrhea with irritation of the intestinal mucosa. Abdominal pain as well as increased bowel movements can occur after excessive intake of irritating foods such as chili peppers. If the patient consumes expired or moldy food, the presence of pathogenic bacteria in the food can lead to the development of acute and chronic colitis, which in turn can cause diarrhea.
