Calcium oxalate stone patients are recommended to increase fluid intake, more dairy products, fruits and vegetables, coarse grains and fiber diet are recommended.
1. Increase fluid intake: Increasing fluid intake can increase urine output, thus reducing the supersaturation of urinary stone components and preventing stone recurrence. It is recommended that the daily fluid intake should be more than 2.5~3 liters, so as to maintain the daily urine output at more than 2.0~2.5 liters.
2. It is recommended to consume more dairy products, such as milk, and foods such as tofu and small fish.
3. Increase the intake of fruits and vegetables: Income from fruits and vegetables in the diet can dilute the time-forming risk factors in the urine and may increase the urinary citrate content, as well as the alkaline components in vegetarian diets, which can elevate the pH in the urine, so it is recommended that patients with calcium oxalate stones should increase their intake of fruits and vegetables.
4. Increase the diet of coarse grains and fiber: rice bran, can reduce urinary calcium excretion, reduce the recurrence rate of calcium oxalate stones, but to avoid such as wheat bran and other oxalic acid-rich fiber foods.
If calcium oxalate stones are present, it is recommended that they be actively diagnosed and treated in a regular hospital.
