Ultrasound elastography has been widely used in the examination of breast, thyroid, and blood vessels. The application of ultrasound elastography and ultrasonography has maximally compensated for the defects and deficiencies of the traditional ultrasound examination techniques, taking breast elastography as an example to illustrate the criteria of elastography scoring. The score includes five points: five points for a lesion with or without green color, five points for a lesion with blue color, four points for a lesion with a little green color or blue color, three points for a lesion with equal proportion of blue and green color, two points for a lesion with green color around and blue color inside, and one point for a lesion with basic or complete green color. An ultrasound elastography score of four or more indicates malignancy, while a score of three or less indicates benignity.
