Firstly, infants should be injected with hepatitis B immunoglobulin at a dose of ≥100 IU as early as possible within 24 h after birth (preferably 12 h after birth), and 10 μg of recombinant yeast hepatitis B vaccine should be administered at different sites, with second and third doses of hepatitis B vaccine administered at 1 and 6 months of age, respectively. Mothers with HBV DNA load greater than 2×106IU/ml in mid- to late-pregnancy can be given antiviral therapy with tenofovir, lamivudine, or telbivudine starting in the 24th to 28th week of gestation to minimize mother-to-child transmission, which can be discontinued 1 to 3 months postpartum, and can be breastfed after discontinuation.
