When hepatitis B is detected after gastric surgery, you may have been infected with the hepatitis B virus before you had the surgery and didn’t know it. Hepatitis B virus can be transmitted through blood, sexual contact, mother and child.
1. Blood transmission: common blood ways include blood transfusion, trauma, dental fillings, eyebrow tattooing, use of unclean syringes and so on.
2. Sexual transmission: when one of the sexual partners is infected with hepatitis B virus, human semen and vaginal secretion contain hepatitis B virus, and hepatitis B virus will be transmitted through this way when having sex.
3. Mother-to-child transmission: When the mother is infected with hepatitis B, the fetus may be infected with hepatitis B virus when it is in the mother’s womb or comes into contact with the mother’s vaginal secretions or blood during delivery.
When hepatitis B is detected, it is recommended that the patient should seek medical treatment as soon as possible, and should not be negligent so as not to delay the condition.
