Tip of the tongue pain is a warning of what’s wrong

Tip of tongue pain may be related to physiologic causes such as food scratches and food irritation, or it may need to be alerted to diseases such as oral diseases, neurological diseases and sexually transmitted diseases.
1. Physiological reasons: when eating spicy and hot stimulating food, it may stimulate the tip of the tongue and cause tongue tip pain; when eating fish or food with bones, it is easy to scratch the mucous membrane of the tip of the tongue, resulting in tongue tip pain.
2. Pathologic causes: oral diseases: when the tip of the tongue has ulcers, papillitis and other diseases, it can cause tongue tip pain. Neurological diseases: such as trigeminal neuralgia, can also involve the tip of the tongue, causing tongue tip pain. Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs): Syphilis, warts and other diseases can cause tongue pain.
When the tongue tip pain does not get better for a long time, you should consult a doctor to clarify the cause under the guidance of the doctor in order to treat it actively.
