Overexertion and fire belongs to the syndrome of hyperactivity of liver-yang in traditional Chinese medicine and can be treated with Gentian Liver Tang and Tianma Hook Teng Drink. 1. Gentian Diarrhea Liver Tang is composed of gentian herb, scutellaria baicalensis, gardenia, zedoaria, mouton, psyllium, angelica, radix et rhizoma, radix et rhizoma, radix et rhizoma, radix et rhizoma, radix et rhizoma, and licorice. It is effective in clearing away solid fire of the liver and gallbladder, clearing dampness and heat in the liver meridian, and treating inflammation of the liver and gallbladder. TIANMA HOOKTEN DRINK: the composition of the drug has Tianma, hookteng, cassia, gardenia, scutellaria, Sichuan hyssop, eucommia and so on. It has the effect of calming the liver and extinguishing wind (regulating the function of the liver to get rid of internal wind), clearing heat and activating blood circulation, and is mainly used for treating the symptoms of hyperactivity of liver yang and upward disturbance of liver wind (wind caused by the liver interferes with the head upward). Symptoms include headache, dizziness, insomnia, red tongue with yellow fur and stringy pulse.
