The Twelve Meridians Follow the Direction of Intersections

The twelve meridians follow the direction of the hand San Yin meridian from the chest to the hand, at the end of the fingers to hand San Yang meridian; hand San Yang meridian from the hand to the head, in the head and face to the foot San Yang meridian; foot of the San Yang meridian from the head to the foot, at the end of the toes to the foot San Yin meridian; foot of the three yin meridian from the foot to the abdomen, in the thoracic and abdominal cavities to the hand San Yin meridian. Among the twelve meridians, the Hand Taiyin Lung Meridian, the Hand Syncope Yin Pericardium Meridian, and the Hand Shaoyin Heart Meridian go from the chest viscera to the ends of the fingers, where they meet the Hand Tri-Yang Meridian. The Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian, the Hand Shaoyang Sanjiao Meridian, and the Hand Sun Small Intestine Meridian move from the fingers toward the head and face, meeting the Foot Tri-Yang Meridian. The Foot Sun Bladder Meridian, Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian, and Foot Yangming Stomach Meridian go from the head and face to the end of the toes and meet with the Foot Tri-Yin Meridian. The Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian, Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian, and Foot Syncopal Liver Meridian travel from the toes towards the abdomen and chest, where they meet the Hand Triple Yin Meridian in the internal organs of the chest.
