What is the effect of chasteberry in combination with Cuscuta chinensis

Chasteberry and Semen Cuscutae work together to tonify the liver and kidney.
Chasteberry belongs to the yin tonic in tonic herbs, belongs to the liver meridian and kidney meridian, and its effect is to nourish the liver and kidney, brighten the eyes and darken the hair. It is used for treating yin deficiency of the liver and kidney, dizziness, tinnitus, lumbar and knee pain, premature whitening of hair, darkening of the eyes, internal heat and thirst (internal heat accompanied by eating, drinking and urinating), and tidal fever (a burst of heat, feeling that the heat is coming from inside the bones to the outside).
Cuscuta belongs to the yang tonic in tonic herbs, and also belongs to the liver and kidney meridians. Its effects are tonifying the liver and kidney, consolidating semen and urine, stopping diarrhea, and improving eyesight. It is used for deficiency of the liver and kidney, soreness and weakness of the waist and knees, impotence and spermatorrhea, urination and frequent urination, fetal leakage due to kidney deficiency (small amount of vaginal bleeding in the early stage of pregnancy), restlessness of the fetus, fainting of the eyes and ringing in the ears, and diarrhea due to deficiency of the spleen and kidney; and externally for vitiligo.
The adverse reactions of the two drugs are not clear. If the patient is not feeling well, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time and standardize the treatment. Chinese medicines should be used in accordance with the doctor’s instructions, so as to avoid delays in the condition.
