Can you have a tooth extracted for toothache

Tooth pain is able to be extracted, for example, in the case of pulpitis, which is usually characterized by hot and cold irritating pain and possibly spontaneous pain. In case of pulpitis in the wisdom tooth, the wisdom tooth can be directly extracted. If the tooth pain is caused by a periapical abscess and it is not completely swollen, in this case extraction can also be done. However, if the tooth pain has been accompanied by maxillofacial swelling, in this case, anti-inflammatory treatment should be carried out first, and the extraction can be carried out after the inflammation has subsided. If the tooth is split, producing pain, localized redness and swelling is light, in this case the tooth can be extracted. If the redness and swelling is heavier and there is pus, it is recommended that anti-inflammatory treatment be given first, and then the tooth can be extracted. So it is possible to extract the tooth when it is painful, but if the suppuration is heavy, the tooth should be extracted after the suppuration subsides.
