Trazodone is not able to lower blood pressure and is an antidepressant. Indications: It is used for the treatment of all types of depression, anxiety disorders with depressive symptoms, and mood disorders following detoxification. ADVERSE REACTIONS: Common adverse reactions are drowsiness, fatigue, dizziness, insomnia, nervousness and tremor, as well as blurred vision, dry mouth and constipation. Postural hypotension, tachycardia, nausea, vomiting and abdominal discomfort are rare. CAUTION: Trazodone hydrochloride should be taken with a meal. Trazodone hydrochloride should be discontinued as soon as possible before surgery, and in pregnant women there is no evidence from adequate and well-controlled studies for this product, so it should be used with caution. Breast milk contains small amounts of trazodone hydrochloride and its metabolites and should therefore be used with caution in nursing women. Contraindications: It is contraindicated in persons who are hypersensitive to trazodone hydrochloride, in persons with severe hepatic impairment, in persons with severe heart disease or arrhythmia, and in persons with impaired consciousness. The drug should be taken under the supervision of a doctor, the appearance of uncomfortable symptoms, it is recommended to consult a doctor for discontinuation of treatment.
