Targeted therapy for colon cancer. Mainly, colon cancer can be treated with targeted anti-tumor angiogenesis drugs, such as bevacizumab, and in case of Kras gene wild type, targeted drugs of cetuximab can be used. Meanwhile, according to the site of colon cancer, it is divided into left hemicolectomy or right hemicolectomy. Bevacizumab is recommended for most of right hemicolectomy, cetuximab is recommended for Kras wild type of left hemicolectomy, and bevacizumab is still recommended for Kras mutation, because there is no efficacy of using cetuximab for mutation. The use of targeted drugs is emphasized to be used in combination with chemotherapy, with the main purpose of improving the objective efficiency of chemotherapy, preparing for translational therapy or for advanced first-line treatment of colorectal cancer.
