Do you have to pull your wisdom teeth?

Wisdom teeth do not necessarily need to be extracted, depending on the health status of the wisdom tooth itself, whether it affects the neighboring teeth, and whether it can perform the function of chewing.
1. Wisdom teeth can not be extracted if they can erupt orthodontically, are in the right position, can perform occlusal function, are not decayed, have no inflammation in the surrounding gum tissues, and do not affect the neighboring teeth and temporomandibular joints.
2. However, most people do not have enough space in their jaws to accommodate wisdom teeth, so clinically most wisdom teeth have problems and need to be removed. Examples include poor eruption position, formation of blocked teeth, absence of opposing teeth, caries, food impaction, loose teeth, and friction on the mucous membranes in the mouth.
It is recommended that you consult a medical professional at a regular hospital to determine if your wisdom teeth need to be removed.
