The thorax is a brace structure surrounded by 24 ribs, sternum and spine, and only one of the ribs is taken, the 6th or 7th rib. If we do reconstruction, we have to take 3 ribs in a row, and we take the short section in front of the rib, so there will be no impact on the body and the support structure will not be changed. In the process of taking, an incision of about 2 cm is made and the subchondral level is intercepted, which is relatively safe. The risk is in the thoracic cavity behind the cartilage, and if the cartilage membrane is not taken care of, it will enter the thoracic cavity and cause complications of hemopneumothorax, which requires further treatment. When there is a small pneumothorax, by means of a small infusion set, purse-string suturing is performed, and when the chest cavity is completely up, the infusion set is removed and purse-string knotting is performed. If the pleural breakage of the chest cavity is relatively large, do closed drainage of the chest cavity, the vast majority of taking rib cartilage is no problem, it is recommended to go to the regular hospital rib cartilage rhinoplasty.
