Acute sinusitis with cephalosporin for up to 14 days. In clinical practice, sinusitis is classified into acute sinusitis and chronic sinusitis based on whether the history is longer than 3 months. The clinical symptoms are nasal congestion, runny nose, olfactory disturbance and painful discomfort in the head and face. Most acute sinusitis is secondary to a cold, and clinical treatment guidelines recommend that cephalosporins of second generation or higher or amoxicillin clavulanate potassium be given orally for 10-14 days. Commonly used are cefixime, cefdinir and cefuroxime. For chronic sinusitis that does not require oral cephalosporin treatment, oral roxithromycin or clarithromycin is required once a day, 1 capsule each time, and the course of treatment needs to be at least 3 months.
