Notes on pituitary enhancement MRI: First, the MRI requires the patient to remove any metal foreign bodies containing iron from the body before entering the MRI is performed. Secondly, the MRI is relatively long and requires the patient to be calm before the examination, and if the patient is small and uncooperative, the patient needs to be prepared for deep sleep. The purpose of contrast injection is to better visualize the pituitary lesions. In addition, the pituitary gland is a rich blood supply examination, and the contrast dose can be relatively reduced compared to other parts of the enhancement examination.
