Biopsy for short is an orthopedic surgeon who uses surgical methods and puncture instruments to take pathological tissues for pathological examination before treatment to clarify the histological diagnosis and guide the clinical development of treatment plans. To provide legal basis for amputation and chemotherapy, biopsy is divided into closed and open biopsy. According to the different methods of biopsy production are divided into frozen biopsy and paraffin biopsy. Frozen biopsy is generally a rapid disease examination performed during surgery, which can make a preliminary diagnosis in about 30 minutes and provide a basis for taking the next step of surgery, such as how big the tumor needs to be removed, whether the residual cavity needs to be inactivated, whether the limb needs to be amputated, etc. Rapid frozen biopsy can also be used as a marginal biopsy of the resected tumor to understand whether the tumor is cleanly removed, but it cannot be used as the final diagnosis of the tumor. Paraffin section diagnosis is to put the surgical specimen into 10% formalin specimen bottle, and then make pathological histological diagnosis under microscope by taking material, filming and H.E staining by pathology department, this kind of diagnosis is accurate and clinically called gold standard, which has important significance for clinical surgery and treatment plan selection and prognosis assessment.
