How does moxibustion respond to cancerous ascites and cancer pain?

How does moxibustion treat cancerous ascites? We have been performing moxibustion to treat cancerous ascites for more than ten years, and we are also the first person in history to treat cancerous ascites with moxibustion, and there are many, many people who benefit from it, but some people feel that the effect is not very satisfactory. The concern is how long moxibustion can go down or which ascites effect is better. First of all, we need to explain the indications for moxibustion for ascites, the belly distension and fullness caused by ascites are two concepts. The distension, that is, the upper abdominal distension is above the navel distension is particularly strong in the case of moxibustion effect is not good, acupuncture or tonics effect is better. If my stomach is afraid of cold, then in this case moxibustion is more effective in treating ascites. If there is a combination of leg swelling and a little leg swelling, moxibustion for Shen Que is also effective, so there are some indications for moxibustion for ascites. The next point is the relationship between ascites and tumor, the tumor does not shrink, ascites can also disappear. Ascites is a simple mechanism of formation, related to the tumor, it is the tumor that touches some related mechanisms and forms ascites. But if I cut off the mechanism that is touched in the middle, the ascites can disappear. Theoretically, moxibustion can have a certain inhibitory effect on tumors, so there are two aspects, one is that moxibustion acts directly on tumors, it can have a certain inhibitory effect on tumors, and the second, it can improve immune function, which also has a certain effect on the metastasis of tumors. Moxibustion can be used to treat cancerous pericardial effusion, pleural effusion, etc. Can it be used for the treatment of tumor metastasis in the chest wall and other body surface metastases that break down and thus exude fluid? I do not recommend it in this case because it stimulates exudation and is not conducive to healing. Moxibustion can be done in cases where there is no tumor at all. For example, if the surgical incision does not heal after surgery, moxibustion can be used to stimulate the local blood circulation around the incision, and the incision will heal easily with better blood circulation. However, I do not recommend moxibustion if the tumor has broken down. If moxibustion is done, if the disease progresses, it is not clear whether the progress is caused by moxibustion or by the tumor itself. Therefore, I don’t recommend doing moxibustion on the tumor rupture site. But has anyone had moxibustion in this case? Some people have given me feedback that moxibustion is also effective and the tumor will shrink. But for the sake of safety and risk avoidance, I do not advocate doing moxibustion at the site of rupture. Can moxibustion boost immunity after chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer liver metastasis patients? Not only pancreatic cancer, but also other tumors can be treated with moxibustion to improve immunity. The location of the pancreas is close to the location of Zhonggui and Juqui. So you can do moxibustion in this area to improve immune function. I have a patient who reported to me at that time that the immune index after doing moxibustion, can rebound rapidly. It is more effective than the intravenous and oral medication in Western medicine. Therefore, moxibustion has a great advantage in improving immune function, especially in the area of NK cells. Which acupuncture points can prevent recurrence and metastasis of ovarian cancer and improve immunity at the same time? Ovarian cancer is particularly prone to recurrence. Why? Because ovarian cancer is particularly damp and it is not easy to be removed. In this case, we need to dispel dampness, and I often emphasize the Zhongyi point, which has a strong effect on dispelling dampness; to let the dampness out, we must add the Zhongji point, which is one inch below the Guangyuan point, so as to have a better effect. For example, if the CA125 is high, we insist on moxibustion of the Zhongji point, which is in place, and the CA125 will drop significantly. The cause of metastasis is too complex, depending on where the metastasis is, different metastasis sites have different causes, this point should be added according to the situation, of course, moxibustion can improve immune function, is undeniable, and the effect is much more obvious than the conventional means of Western medicine. Is moxibustion for cancer pain a pain point or an acupuncture point? We emphasize more on the pain points, why? Why? Cancer pain is mainly inaccessible, and if it is not accessible, it is painful. So we will choose the pain point, after moxibustion, the local qi and blood circulation is smooth, it will not hurt, not the selected point. How can moxibustion stop cancer invasion pleural pain and bone turn pain? As a matter of fact, pleural pain inside tumor pain is a more complex and confusing pain. This pleural pain morphine-based drugs are not very effective, and the nerve blocking method is not good either. So there is nothing we can do for pleural pain? No, we generally use fire acupuncture, together with local muscle release, and oral tonics to treat pleural pain, and the results are quite satisfactory. For pleural pain we do not use moxibustion much. But for bone metastasis pain, we use two methods. One is moxibustion for bone metastasis pain, and the other is blood cupping at the bone metastasis pain, which can relieve the bone metastasis pain very quickly. We are highly confident that for bone metastasis pain, we can use moxibustion. How to make the best effect of pain relief? Usually, we do blood cupping at the painful point of bone metastasis first, then do moxibustion, the treatment is more complete and it will not be easy to rebound. I am a breast cancer patient with bone metastases (multiple) and lung metastases (now under chemotherapy, the nodes on the lung are shrinking), and my left upper extremity is very edematous. Can I use moxibustion on DaZhi and Lung Yu and Ankylosis points with so many lesions? In the case of breast cancer with upper limb edema, especially the upper limb with finger pit edema, which is a pit when pressed, it is not advisable to do moxibustion for a long time. Why? Because such patients have poor sensation of pain and heat, which can easily cause burns, so we do not recommend localized moxibustion. For moxibustion on the edema of the left upper extremity, we can do 5 to 10 minutes of moxibustion on the site of the eye of the needle after the blood cupping, which is good for the relief of the edema of the upper extremity. But can we do moxibustion on the Great Vertebrae and the Lungs and Ankyles points? Because these acupuncture points are far away from the site of edema, it is possible to moxibustion the Great Vertebrae, Lung Yu and Ancient Heart points to treat non-edema diseases without any problem. What acupuncture points are suitable for lymphoma? The acupuncture points for lymphoma need to be determined according to the specific location and the specific condition. However, one common feature of lymphoma patients is that they have a phlegmatic and damp constitution, and they are quick-tempered and love to get angry. Therefore, moxibustion can be applied to Zhonggui and Zhimen points. Can moxibustion be applied directly to the breast nodes? The first thing is to exclude the tumor, if it is a malignant tumor, surgery is recommended. In the case of breast fibroids, moxibustion is more effective for breast fibroids (large tough nodules or striated swellings to the touch) because they are cold. Which acupuncture points are suitable for children with osteosarcoma? Which acupuncture points are suitable for children with osteosarcoma with lung metastasis? The moxibustion treatment for osteosarcoma depends on the growth area of the tumor. Patients with osteosarcoma of the lower extremities who crave cold and like meat should have moxibustion at the Zhonggui point, while patients with osteosarcoma of the upper extremities who have a quick temper should have moxibustion at the Zhimen point. Patients with osteosarcoma with lung metastasis usually have spleen deficiency, so they should add moxibustion to the Body pillar point. How to moxibustion during post-operative recovery of cervical cancer? Patients with cervical cancer have heavy menstrual flow before the disease and are prone to anxious temper and fire. Each acupuncture point should be used for 15 minutes. Can moxibustion restore the body? Does it assist other treatments to suppress tumors? There is no doubt that moxibustion can restore the body. Moxibustion has a significant inhibitory effect on cold tumors, such as retroperitoneal malignant tumors. For hot tumors, moxibustion after local evacuation also has a good effect.
