What causes the endometrium to be too thick

Clinically, the endometrium is too thick for the following reasons: First, if the endometrium is too thick in women of childbearing age, it is likely to be caused by pregnancy, or because the endometrium will thicken before menstruation is due. Secondly, it is caused by lesions of the endometrium, such as endometrial inflammation or atypical hyperplasia of the endometrium, which can lead to a thickening of the endometrium. Clinically, it is best to give diagnostic curettage at the 6th-12th hour of menstruation and further medication or treatment is given according to the pathological diagnosis. In addition, if endometrial thickening occurs after menopause, diagnostic scraping must be done clinically to exclude the possibility of endometrial cancer.
