Incomplete shedding of the endometrium can be achieved by taking oral progestin for the purpose of pharmacological curettage. The incomplete shedding of endometrium may be clinically due to ovarian dysfunction and the endometrium cannot be exfoliated normally, which will clinically cause irregular vaginal bleeding, heavy vaginal bleeding and prolonged bleeding, and in serious cases, anemia. Ultrasound examination is needed to determine the thickness of the endometrium. If endometrial thickening occurs, a large amount of progestin can be used to achieve the purpose of pharmacological scraping so that the endometrium can be peeled off as soon as possible to stop the bleeding.
