The shape of the vulva is divided into three types: normal, childish and hypertrophic. Normal is the shape of the majority of women, while a small proportion of women have abnormal childish or hypertrophic shapes.
1. Normal: Normal is between infantile and hypertrophic, with normal development of the subcutaneous fat of the labia majora and labia minora. The vaginal vestibule, clitoris, vestibular glands, and vaginal opening are all normally developed, and there is no over-enlargement or over-childishness.
2. Naïve type: the patient’s fat development is less, the subcutaneous fat of labia majora and labia minora are thinner, and the labia minora are slightly protruding from the skin, and the labia minora are weaker.
3. Hypertrophy: Contrary to the naïve type, the subcutaneous fat of the labia majora and labia minora are thicker in hypertrophy. The labia minora are brownish-black in color and petal-like in shape.
