Is it normal to have lymph nodes in the armpits?

Lymph nodes are normal tissue structures in the human body, and it is normal to have more lymph nodes in the armpits on the surface of the body, but if the patient can touch the enlarged lymph nodes, or if symptoms of pain occur, it is not normal.
Lymph nodes can be distributed in all parts of the body, axillary lymph nodes, if not touched, and no other symptoms of discomfort, is normal.
If the patient can touch the lymph nodes in the armpit, and the lymph nodes are movable, soft and painful, it is mostly considered to be lymphadenitis; if the lymph nodes are hard, poorly movable and not painful, it is mostly considered to be caused by lymphatic metastasis of malignant lesions, such as breast cancer, lung cancer, and so on.
Once the patients have armpit discomfort, they should go to regular hospitals in time for relevant examinations to find out the cause of the disease and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
