Wu Zhu Tang is a common clinical Chinese herbal formula composed of Wu Zhu, ginseng, ginger and jujube, which has the effects of warming the middle Jiao, tonifying the deficiency, lowering the rebelliousness and stopping vomiting (stopping the upward flow of stomach qi and stopping vomiting).
Among them, Wu Zhu Tang has the effects of lowering the rebelliousness and stopping vomiting, warming the liver and stomach; ginger has the effects of warming the middle and dispersing the cold (dispersing the cold with medicine that warms the spleen and stomach), and harmonizing to stop vomiting; ginseng has the effects of benefiting qi, strengthening the spleen and nourishing the stomach; and jujube has the effects of sweetness, moderating and harmonizing the middle.
Wu Zhu Tang can be used clinically to treat a variety of conditions such as fullness in the chest and diaphragm, cold pain in the stomach and epigastric region, headache at the top of the head, and dryness and vomiting, but it is not generally used to treat depression.
