There are several types of fractures

Fractures are categorized with different conclusions depending on the classification criteria, such as closed fractures, open fractures, transverse fractures, oblique fractures, spiral fractures, and so on. Fractures can be classified according to the integrity of the skin and mucosa at the fracture site, the degree and shape of the fracture, and the degree of stability of the fracture end. 1. According to the integrity of the skin and mucosa at the fracture site: closed and open fractures can be distinguished. Closed fracture means that the skin and mucous membrane at the fracture site are intact, and the fracture end tissue is not connected to the outside world. Open fracture means that the skin and mucous membrane at the fracture site are ruptured, the integrity is lost, and the tissues at the fracture end are connected with the outside world. 2. According to the shape and degree of localization after fracture: according to the distribution direction of fracture line and abnormal shape, the fracture can be divided into transverse, oblique, spiral, comminuted, green branch, embedded, compression, bone injury and other kinds of fracture. 3. According to whether the fracture end is in a stable state or not: it can be distinguished into stable and unstable fractures. Stable fracture refers to the fracture that the fracture end is not easy to be displaced, and unstable fracture refers to the fracture that the fracture end is easy to be displaced. If a patient has a fracture, he should go to the orthopedic department of the local hospital in time to correct the deformity and promote recovery.
