Three experimental cases of curing chloasma without any intention (one)

Melasma (sallow spots) is mostly seen in women, the cause of which is still unknown in Western medicine, with high estrogen levels in the blood being the main cause. Its onset is related to pregnancy, long-term oral contraceptive use and menstrual disorders. It is also seen in some patients with female reproductive system disorders, tuberculosis, cancer, chronic ethanol poisoning, liver disease, etc. Sunlight can contribute to the onset of the disease. Male patients account for about 10% of cases, and some studies suggest that male onset is genetically related. There is no satisfactory treatment for this disease, and it has become an important “heart disease” for men and women who love beauty. The author is a TCM physician in internal medicine (oncology), not a professional dermatologist, but in his long-term clinical practice, he has occasionally taken Chinese medicine to treat other diseases and cured chloasma inadvertently. The patient complained of sudden onset of urinary frequency and urgency and urinary pain 3 months ago, and searched for fresh plantain herb about 600~800 grams, and took several large bowls of decoction, and the urinary tract irritation disappeared in half a day. However, more than 1 month ago, there was a gradual onset of conscious fever, especially in the afternoon, but the body temperature was not high. Night sweating caused the formation of “shadow removal” (when waking up in the morning, I found that the sweating soaked the bed sheets like the shape of a human silhouette, like a human shadow printed on the sheets, which is a manifestation of severe night sweating), accompanied by a face full of chloasma “like an altar glaze” (the patient’s original words), waist and knee The patient’s back and knees were sore and weak, her hands and feet were hot, she was thirsty for cold drinks, and her urine was scanty and red. In a provincial city, several major western hospitals have repeatedly examined the patient and said that he was normal and not sick, but the patient felt that he was getting heavier and heavier and turned to me for Chinese medicine treatment. Check: T36.9℃, clear and thin, red tongue with little coating, sunken and thin pulse. The patient was doing business in a provincial city and it was not convenient to decoct the medicine, so he was given Six Flavored Dihuang Pills (adult medicine, 120g/bottle, price 1.6 yuan/bottle at that time) to be taken orally, 6g/time, 2 times/day. After taking the medicine, she felt better day by day, and continued to take it until January, when all the symptoms and melasma basically disappeared, spending a total of 4.8 yuan for the medicine.
