Patients with red stuff in the middle of the eyeball may be caused by ocular inflammatory lesions such as scleritis and subconjunctival hemorrhage.
1. Inflammatory lesions: nodular superficial scleritis and other ocular inflammatory lesions, belonging to the self-limiting non-specific inflammation of the scleral surface tissues, often acute onset of disease, the patient may have pressure, pain and other discomforts, the patient’s corneal limb may appear limited congestive dark red nodular elevated lesions, the surrounding conjunctiva may be congested, edema and so on.
2. Subconjunctival hemorrhage: when the patient’s subconjunctival blood vessels rupture or in the permeability increase, subconjunctival hemorrhage can occur. As the conjunctival tissue is loose, the bleeding is easy to gather into flakes, showing red lesions.
It is recommended that patients with red lesions in the eye should consult a hospital in a timely manner to assess their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
