Varicose veins have different precursor symptoms in different parts of the body. Varicose veins of the lower limbs may present with soreness and swelling of the lower limbs and sunken edema; varicose veins of the spermatic cord may present with enlargement of the scrotum; and varicose veins of the esophagus-floor of the stomach may present with abdominal distension, and so on. 1. Varicose veins of the lower extremities: lower extremities may show signs of soreness, heaviness, and sunken edema, and in severe cases, venous tortuosity and dilatation may occur. 2. Varicose veins of the spermatic cord: most of them do not have obvious precursor symptoms. Some people may have scrotal enlargement or a feeling of swelling when standing, which will be relieved when lying down. 3. Esophageal – fundal varices: abdominal distension, abdominal pain, acid reflux, belching and other symptoms may occur. When abnormal symptoms occur, the cause should be clarified under the guidance of a doctor for active treatment.
