Generic name of Prolix is Dixumab Injection, and the main efficacy and action of this product is for osteoporosis in postmenopausal women, which significantly reduces the risk of vertebral, non-vertebral, and hip fractures in postmenopausal women. Dixumab Injection is able to work by targeting osteoclasts through molecules called RANKL, which reduces the production of new osteoclasts and decreases bone destruction and bone loss, relieving bone pain and other related symptoms. The most common adverse reactions to deslumizumab injection include musculoskeletal pain and limb pain, and occasional cases of cellulitis as well as rare cases of hypocalcemia, hypersensitivity reactions, osteonecrosis of the jaws, and atypical femur fracture have been reported in patients using this medication. It is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to the active ingredient or any of the excipient components of the drug, and in patients with hypocalcemia. It is recommended to use the drug under medical treatment.
