What is acebutinib?

Abcixitinib is a medication indicated for adult patients with refractory, moderately severe atopic dermatitis who have not responded well to other systemic therapies (e.g., hormones or biologics) or are not candidates for these therapies. Abcixitinib is an inhibitor of Janus kinase (JAK) 1. JAK is an intracellular enzyme that mediates signaling resulting from cytokine or growth factor receptor interactions on cell membranes, thereby affecting cellular hematopoiesis and immune function. Abcixitinib reversibly and selectively inhibits JAK1 by blocking the adenosine triphosphate (ATP) binding site. The availability of this drug provides a new treatment option for patients with atopic dermatitis. Common adverse reactions to abcixitinib include nasopharyngitis, headache, nausea and acne. People who are allergic to the drug need to disable it. Serious adverse reactions such as cardiovascular events and serious infections should be managed by informing the physician if they occur after the use of the drug. The drug should not be used by individuals for personal use, and it is necessary to strictly follow the doctor’s instructions.
