New way to lose weight – eating meat diet

The meat-eating diet for weight loss, often referred to internationally as the Akin Diet, is also known as the low-carb diet. The Arkin Diet is a theory developed by an American physician in the 1970s. The features of the theory are: the adjusted diet is quite low in carbohydrates, in the first phase of weight loss using this diet, the carbohydrate intake should not exceed 20 grams per day, after two weeks, the body enters the weight maintenance period, the carbohydrate intake can be increased to 40 grams per day, meaning, just eat meat on the right! Currently, three million people in the UK are on a meat-eating diet to lose weight. This method of weight loss can make obese people lose weight in a relatively short period of time, and, because meat is the main food, not only is it not easy to produce hunger, but also to satisfy the appetite, for dieting dieters, it seems to be a good thing. Can such a diet be successful? From a nutritional point of view, such a weight loss method can work. 1, it advocates eating as little carbohydrate-rich food as possible, such as sugary foods, white bread, pasta, because these foods can make the body’s blood sugar rise quickly, but also stimulate the appetite, unconsciously eat more food. Let’s say you eat jam with bread in the morning, then before lunch, you will not only be hungry faster, and appetite will be stronger than usual. 2. It advocates eating more animal protein. This is a good way to avoid eating a lot because of hunger. The body can break down fats and carbohydrates to produce the heat needed for daily activities, and the usual rule is to break down carbohydrates first, so – once the intake of carbohydrates is truncated, the body will break down fats in order to obtain heat; in addition, from meat, eggs, fish and butter and other foods can take in a large amount of protein. Protein can promote the body’s metabolism, and therefore can accelerate the body to burn more fat. Another consequence of this diet is that dieters consume too much saturated fat, which can affect health, especially for heart health, and may cause some cancers. A British scientific study also concluded that the use of meat-eating diet to reduce weight may bring another side effect – depressed mood. The disadvantages of the meat-eating diet 1, too much animal protein is not beneficial to health. According to the UK’s publicly available Internal Medication Record, the diet of consuming too much animal protein can cause kidney disease, and this diet has caused 1 in 3 adults in the UK to suffer from kidney disease. The British Kidney Patients Association has clearly stated that the meat-eating diet is one of the main culprits. If a woman sticks to a “high protein, low carbohydrate” diet during pregnancy, it can be detrimental to the health of the fetus. Moreover, children born to women with such a diet are likely to suffer from high blood pressure. Women who ate meat and fish every day during pregnancy had offspring whose blood pressure was 5 percent higher than the average blood pressure of others. Researchers warned that pregnant women should be careful with the meat-eating diet, however healthy is the priority, pregnant women – must ensure a balanced diet. Researchers surveyed 25,000 cancer patients and 500,000 healthy women from around the world, and they found that more than half of those with breast cancer had excessive saturated fat intake, and healthy women with the same diet were 20 percent more likely to develop breast disease than those without the diet. People who have excessive saturated fat intake problems, without exception, love and eat meat, cheese, butter, cakes and cookies. Cancer Research UK calls for a healthy diet that contains less saturated fat and more fruit and vegetables. 2. Lack of carbohydrates affects health. People need enough carbohydrates to ensure the normal operation of all body functions. Under normal circumstances, the daily carbohydrate intake should not be less than 70 grams. If the carbohydrate content in the human body is consistently too low, it will directly affect the secretion of insulin, making it difficult for the body to actively break down fat, which is detrimental to weight loss. Therefore, from a health perspective, a person should consume at least 150 grams of carbohydrates per day. Take – for example – a person with a daily calorie intake of 1250 kcal, 150 grams of carbohydrates provide 600 kcal, accounting for 48% of the total intake. In addition, the meat-eating diet also rejects the intake of fruits and vegetables, which is contrary to the theory of healthy eating. Fruits and vegetables are an important source of vitamins, minerals and fiber, and can be very good at maintaining human health. Note: If you eat a normal diet of pure meat for a long time, you will have high cholesterol in your body, leading to heart or blood vessel problems. The body will create harmful substances in the decomposition of fat and protein, greatly increasing the load on the kidneys and liver, long-term eating will lack sufficient water. Although such a diet allows people to lose weight without being in a state of hunger, but such an unbalanced diet can lead to many other problems.
