Hazards of Cipirin

Hazards of Ciprofloxacin: 1. Long-term use of the drug may cause depression, and women with a history of depression are particularly susceptible to this reaction. Extrapyramidal symptoms such as bradykinesia and tonicity are more likely to occur in the elderly. 2. drowsiness and fatigue, can cause weight gain or accompanied by increased appetite, special patients will have weakness during treatment, this phenomenon will gradually increase, if there is a gradual increase should stop treatment. 3. rare are heartburn, stomach pain, insomnia, anxiety. 4. rare overflow, dry mouth, muscle pain and skin rash. Contraindicated in patients with a history of depression, Parkinson’s disease or other symptoms of extrapyramidal disease. Use with caution in the elderly, lactating women. Sedation and weakness may occur with overdose of Cipro. Drowsiness and tachycardia have been reported in overdoses. Cipro, when combined with alcohol hypnotics or sedatives, meet with excessive sedation of the central nervous system and should be avoided in conjunction with hypnotics, sedatives or alcohol.
