If a human bone is broken by trauma, in most cases it can grow back by itself. People have certain tissue repair ability, and if a bone is broken, even if the fracture end can be buttressed to 1/5 or even 1/10, it can gradually appear to have bone scab growth, and thus the bone will gradually heal. In the case of adults, the bone healing time is 3 months; in the case of elderly people with osteoporosis, it may take 4-5 months; in the case of children, especially some newborn babies, the bone growth ability is very fast and may be able to grow completely in about 2 months. In addition, if the fracture end of the bone is separated very obviously after the break, and there is no alignment at all, it is not able to grow back by itself.
