HPV high-risk types include skin high-risk HPV 5, 8, 14, 17, 20, 36, 38, and mucosal high-risk HPV 16, 18, 30, 31, 33, 35, 39, 53. High-risk HPV (human papillomavirus) can be categorized into cutaneous high-risk HPV and mucosal high-risk HPV according to the area of tissue they invade. 1. Cutaneous high-risk HPV: This type of HPV causes warty epidermal dysplasia, which is very closely associated with the development of malignant tumors such as penile, vulvar, bladder, anal and prostate cancers.
