What to take for stomach pain and heartburn

Gastroparesis and heartburn are often caused by excessive gastric acid or reflux, and can be treated with acid-suppressing drugs such as omeprazole, gastric-promoting drugs such as domperidone tablets, and gastric mucosal protectants such as aluminum thioglycollate.
1. Acid-suppressing drugs: patients can take acid-suppressing drugs to inhibit the secretion of gastric acid, so as to reduce the stimulation of gastric acid on the esophagus and other parts of the esophagus. Omeprazole and other acid-suppressing drugs can be taken for treatment. Omeprazole adverse reactions may have headache, nausea and so on. It is contraindicated in people with severe renal insufficiency.
2. Gastric power drugs: patients can take some gastric power drugs to improve digestion and relieve reflux symptoms. Domperidone tablets can be taken for treatment. Adverse effects of domperidone tablets include headache, drowsiness and so on. Gastrointestinal bleeding and perforation is prohibited.
3. Gastric mucosa protector: patients can take gastric mucosa protector, such as aluminum sulfate and other drugs to protect the gastric mucosa and relieve symptoms. Adverse reactions of aluminum sulfate include back pain, nausea and so on. Renal insufficiency should be used with caution.
